Want to choose the install drive

Using the install manager, DAZ3D is installed on my C Drive, but I want it and all further content installed on a different drive. Do I have to install DAZ manually?

I believe so. I ALWAYS use a manual install and keep all my programs on a separate SSD I've designated as D: My content is on another, conventional hard drive.
The question is can I use Install Manager afterwards for the rest please? Is it able to recognize the drive DAZ is installed and will it then install the rest there too?
Click the gear icon to open DIM's preferences and go to the Instalaltion tab - you will see paths for 32 bit and 64 bit software at the top, which you can use to set the base path (Programme Files equivalent) for applications.
@ Richard.,
I tried moving my Library to another Drive, and updated the paths.
but ran into all kinds of errors.. Does something get writtin into files, that prevents it from moving the library.
Don't feel like deleting everything and start over, and change the install paths during installation.. it's a whopping 300Gb download of content..
(i do have the zips, but then the smart library always get's messed up. I don't have that anymore anymore with the download within Daz)
Unless they fixed that bug in the new version (where content was greyed out and re-importing the metadata, made it only worse etc)
What errors were you getting? The Content Management System does use absolute paths so you would want to export user data, reset the database, then reimport metadata. The Manifest files saved by DIM on installing also store the absolute path so you'd either need to batch edit them or do a reinstall (which would also update the Content Management System).
