Install Manager Working Weirdly

l just got a new laptop/workstation that has 32gb ram an ssd drive and a second Sata  drive. I installed the install manager to download my purchased content. When I go to the "gear" icon to go to settings, the tabs seem to freeze. I select applications tab and it stays on the accounts tab. I select another tab and I get the applications tab that I wanted. I can do this with with different tab sequences and the same issue happens. Sometimes within the tab, I cannot get any thing I click on, such as install directories, etc. I have to close out of install manager several different times to be able to minipuate the settings tabs. Other programs on the computer do not give me issues. Any thoughts?
