Beautiful work, mori_mann and deeleelaw57! Well done!

Thank you all very much for the kind comments!

@Kismet2012 : It was made in LuxRender with the opportunity of network rendering, it was possible to cut the rendertime down to a small eternity. smiley

@Linwelly : That was one of my thoughts too. So I disarmed Victoria with everyday streetware, instead of a bikini. wink

I see everybody moves their refelctions in, nice ones!

Mike that is one lot of reflection with all those balls, must be some car presentation show, they do all they can to divert attention from the car ;)

Great idea with the double reflection deeleelaw57!

Thank you Linwelly, I also thought your Shattered render was excellent. All of the renders here are great. I like Kismet 2012 and MN-150374 spherical idea, so many shinny things and I have so few CUDA Cores.

The only reflection in my render is from Victoria 7. The Hag was added with the Double Exposure Camera.

Truth to be told, I've been dreading doing this month's render as reflections typically adds A LOT to the render time. I already had another render this month going for over 3 days, so not all that keen on another one like that. But I have one rendering now that should finish under the 24 hour mark. Seeing MN's render, with all those shiny things, I had to chain my computer to the desk to keep it from running away in fear. surprise Great render though. Also a yes for mori_mann and deeleelaw. Appearance can be decieving, but there's always somewhere one's true reflection will show.

    Greeting the new guy

A new rubber ducky arrives at the pond and Ducky leads his duckions to greet the newcomer. As they get to know each other, Ducky sees the reflection of himself from years passed in the newcomer - a young, handsome and adventurous ducky, not afraid to try new waters.

There isn't much in the way of reflections in the water, so I hope that little story helps this qualify as a reflection scene.

No matter what Simon says, those ducks are not for eating! I don't think they'd taste very well either. cheeky

And that is some very reflective sunglasses xmasrose! It does not seem like a very friendly encounter though. surprise

  • I've sort of been busy this month.  I like all the reflection images.  Someone needs to save Ducky from the orange sauce!   Duck sauce goes much better!

I don't know if I'll manage to get an image in this month.  I started one for the thread and didn't end up with very many reflections and it went in a totally different direction.  I'll have to see if I can work something new out for the thread when I'm done.

Somehow, I don't think that what is reflected in those glasses is what he really wanted to see!  :)

Thanks for the linky XmasRose... I did a similar photo with the glasses for my Photography post this month.  I'd already done one with glasses a while back so I opted out this time.  ;)  Thanks for sharing!!!

I haven't done a render in ages.  Would an old one be OK?

I would honestly be happy with just the palm trees and the beach. We had a blizzard here yesterday and this morning I cleared 1 dm (4 inches) of snow off my car. crying

I'm glad you got that done in time Llola. Gives me something to dream away to.

I'm also glad you could join us Hoppity! Who/what is that cute guard bot?

  • LinwellyLinwelly Posts: 5,947

wow this place has become busy now the end is neigh.

AAAAAwesome ducky pond there Isi! But I'd love to see Llolas island, but not if I have to fear to be attacked on the beach by a granny like the dude with the glasses, nice twist there xmasrose!

That bot attacking his reflection is a great idea as well, Hoppitty,

So  many great renders this month, the theme really brought out some wonderful works!

No start thinking about next month...
