  • Thank you isidorn, bigh and Linwelly.

isidorn that may be a very pleasant distraction for the piano player, unless she is the pianist tip toeing through the ivory.

And why does ducky always have the best viewing angle.

I wonder how long they can go at it before one of them starts laughing. wink Seriously though, that's a very nice B/W. Makes me wonder what kind of entity that white woman is.

Wonderful artwork Linwelly... I love how the background adds to the mood of the two ladies... FYI... I'd have started laughing as soon as I looked into the eyes of the person across from me... I have no self restraint!  I admit it... I love to laugh... LOL.  Thanks oodles for sharing!

Good work, peeps! I like seeing stuff in black and white :D

    Here's my attempt.

You scratch my back, I scratch yours

Daz horse 2, Hivewire horse - That black one is so black it absorbs light, making it a challenge to light it and still keep the white one form ending up as a flash. I wanted to smooth things up in post and then I couldn't stop, lol. But hey, it's black and white. In black and white.

Black and White is hard, at least it was hard for me to find something that didn't look boring without the color. This was a pain in the butt, took a long time to render, then cover up a lot of fireflies that were still there. That's what I get for using the Atmocamera with low light I guess.

Oooo Luci... I think you have a very good render there.  Well worth the wait.  I'm sure lots of stories could be inspired by it :)  Thanks for sharing!

  • Very nice luci45, I like the lighting and the fog in the background. It looks like it's rolling in.

Some damned nie and atmospheric B&W renders!

Honesty time - mine actuakky isn't, actaully, B&W, it may just look that way - my take on the theme was the black and white of the clericl garb (andd, of course, siamese kitty).

Yes Simon.. it actually works great.  It's whatever interpretation people have for B&W.  :)

Wow! Some really great work here - I know how hard it is to work in black and white, and especially how hard it is to light darker figures. I'm really impressed! I'm playing with mine and hope to have one ready soon.
