I had a couple of ideas for this month's theme, but suddenly time runs out and it's the last day and I end up with something completely different. Somewhat continuing on the musical theme some of this month's renders have had, here's a colourful bunch that might be insipired by some old earthling musicians.

    The Village Bots

I want to see them sing YMCA

I'm afraid they only came pre-programmed with "Macho Man". cheeky Thanks for the comments everyone! heart

I don't see what is making you unhappy xmasrose, I think you did a great reneder.

I agree with that. Ending the colour theme month on a high note.

And Bigh starting the new month with a beautiful frame!

wow, I hardly blink an eye and there is May, still wanted to appreciate those great renders from April, I've never been a fan of clowns in whatever form but I guess yours are easily the ones i like best so far Llola!

them robots are too cute but why isn't dicky listening to the YMCA song, Isi?

Xmasrose, those are some interesting colors combined on that guy, whatever direction he is headed, he will impress!

Now.. there are some really quick people here: Bigh, that looks stunning, I like the colours and repitition, I'm curious to know what program you used for that.

and that lion sleeps is an excellent choice to put frame to a render, well done deeleelaw57

Thank you Linwelly! Ducky couldn't be part of the bot band so I left him out to avoid confusion.

Thanks, guys! That gate is so beautiful - it was begging to be a frame.

  • isidornisidorn Posts: 1,601

That's a beautiful scenery Luci! Wish I could be there to hear what they say. That bear doesn't look quite convinced of what the other guy is saying.

So that's how it got the name "Skullcrusher Ogre"? surprise

Great choice of character. We see ogres way too seldom!

Haha! Thanks! Believe it or not, I didn't even think about the relevance of "Skullcrusher" when I made this. I just wanted to make him fit within the frame of the wall, in a humorous way. So I thought, why not have him stand on skulls instead of rocks? :)

Thank you @deeleelaw57 and @bigh.  After I saw some of the other images posted already I knew my original image for this month wasn't good enough.  Fortunately I received some inspiration.

wow, everybody is having good renders already, that portal is just beautiful @Luci45 and the framed ogre is a great idea, he looks so happy there, lol.

And that Mermaid looking in is just fantastic!

Up to now I'm running blanc on ideas for frame but there is still some month left so maybe it'll come to me later.
