Marielle Hair problem

Got some weird clear spots in it when rendering. Anyone see this before and if so do you have any ideas of how to fix it?

    The one on the right is definitely the background showing through a gap in the hair, and the ones on the left seem to be caused by transparency. You could try a test render without the very jazzy background

    I never had a problem with this hair. haven't used in a bit though

    Yeah, it's a nice hairstyle overall which is what made the transparencies so weird. It seems like it's due to a combination of the hair colors and certain poses since the holes aren't in the geometry.
