How would i Puppeteer Drumset playing?

I plan to have a drummer in my movie. I know it can be done using puppeter . i have a slight idea how to do it but i'm not sure.

I would like to keep the hihat going witht the right hand while hitting the snare at times witht the left hand. Moreover i would like to reach in and ues the TOms and the cymbals. I"m sure i can figure out something but any tips?
