animation import via fbx to 3ds Max

Hello I'm trying to import an animation into 3ds Max. FBX saves all the bones and even saves keyframes, but only for two bones ( hip and pelvis) does it properly for the length of the animation. The other bones hav only the first keyframe.
I went through all the settings in the export dialog in DAZ as well as 3ds Max's fbx import one and I don't see anything that would cause those issues.
The character model is a default one with some random default animation applied.

It works fine for me. What is this "random default animation applied" you refer to? Is that an aniBlock? If yes, did you bake to Studio Keys in aniMate?
Are you importing the whole fbx file or just the animation?
