For Light Dome Pro-R, where is the so called Manual they mention?

I don't see it anywhere and LIghtDOme Pro-R is a bit tricky so i need help

  • In the Video they mention is ready out of the box. And the way it renders is it opens up a circle as the render happens. That doesn't happen with me, i render and it's just the same way 3ddelight does it even with out light dome pro-r.  I don't even see any improvements in the rendering.

moreover, in Light Doe Pro 2 , whihc i did have before, you would rotate the dome and you could see the light on the character's body change. now it doesn't

  • I furthere looked into the tutorial and they use the RENDER LDP-R option under the Reneder menu. Before i was using the Render option under the Render menu. But anyhow, it's not doig what they do in the video which is the render happens as a circle opens up little by little . in my case i just get a bunch of rendered images in different modes: One with light, One with a nother way of being lighten, one is just the black silhouette of the character with the Dome in the background etc. about 6 images are rendered but non of them are the single final image i want.

What's going on? I know the guy talks about how light dome pro-r is supposed to be so that you can get it to photoshop...But in his video he actually renders the image fully lighten so why can't i?

  • Ok Im back. I did download the GIMP portion of the LIght dome (and installed). And i have GIMP 2.8.   How does downloading the GIMP thing of the Light Dome product affect gimp?     In the video tutorial they just went to photoshop. opened up all the layer images created with "Render LDP-R"

then they hit "combine" and the final image was created.

BUt there is no Combine in GIMP. and i surely didn't get a plugin or anything that gives me that capability

If you look in the filelist in either the documentation center or through DIM, it's located at ReadMe's/16860_ldp-r-manual_104.pdf
