About "Fit To feature" and OLD High Heels for feets for Victoria 4 on Genesis 3 Female(s)

Hello people !

I have a question to ask reguarding Fit feature.

I purchased a product for my Genesis 3 Female(s) named as: Wear Them All - Autofitting Clones and Clothing Smoothers for Genesis 3 Female(s)
(here on DAZ3D: http://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofitting-clones-and-clothing-smoothers-for-genesis-3-female-s)

And a great outfit I want use on her, that was called as: Pink Dolly for V4
(also here on DAZ3D: http://www.daz3d.com/pink-dolly-for-v4)

My question is about the feets pose of the high-heels.
In fact, I fitted without any problems the left of the outfit, but for feets (high heels) I have a small problem..)

I used first the INJECT feet pose to my Genesis 3 Female (this is a file located in POSE of the product Pink Dolly for V4).
And then trying Fit To the High Heels (from Pink Dolly for V4) to my Genesis 3 Female

It fit to feet, yes, but, there is a problem, there is a GAP between feet and high heels.
(looks at the image attached).

I know If I unfit, I can move the pose of the feet WITHOUT affecting the pose of the high heels..
But, how doing that when it's fitted? (without unfit, or, without a headache) ?

Thanks for any help considering my askings :)

EDIT: Oh! I forgotten, I use DAZ Studio 4.9.x

Shoes are the one thing that don't tranlate well to G3F from earlier generations; some will work better than others, but better is still pretty bad. This is especially true of high heels. Gloves too are an issue, but there are fewer of them.

Think it has something to do with the greter number of bones in the character rig.

You could try fitting them to a V4, or maybe G1 or G2 would work too, position them to match, then invis the figure you used.

Personally, I tend to use G3 for shoes on G3; too much hastle.

Never thought of trying it, but you could try exporting them as an object, then reimort and then fit them.

  • Thanks you nicstt, but, can you also answer to my question (initial one):

"I know If I unfit, I can move the pose of the feet WITHOUT affecting the pose of the high heels..
But, how doing that when it's fitted? (without unfit, or, without a headache) ?"

(or it's perhaps not clear for you, if so, please, tell me that's it's not clear, I will trying to explain.. better)

    Presuming I understand what you're saying/asking.

If the shoes fit correctly, then moving the feet, would move the shoes - as they are fitted.

The issue is they are not fitting correctly.

My guess, is you are looking at a number of things, and calling them the or a problem - (such as moving the pose?); they aren't the problem (yes they are causing you a problem - but that is different.), but are a symptom of the actual problem; previous generation shoes don't fit well, and rarely even good on G3 - this is particularly pronounced for high heels.

  • Ok..
    I see :/
Well, I think I must find a way to do that.. It certainly exists a way to do that..
I purchased the http://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofitting-clones-and-clothing-smoothers-for-genesis-3-female-s product for do a fit to clothes, but I tought due to the presentation/and manual that will working too for shoes, high-heels included.. Hum.. What a deception so.

Anyway, the product itself work for other parts of clothes/hairs and moreover, so, deception only for shoes.
