Silly Question About Background

Hi,

I opened a scene that came with a set and there's an image attached to the view. It shows up in the background, but is always attached to the vew no matter what angle I use, etc. It was maddening at first because I couldn't figure out how it appeared there until I moved the camera around and saw that it always followed. How does one remove that? What is it? I've never run into it before, so thanks for your help.

It might be an image in the Environment pane. If you don't have that pane open, go to the Windows menu and select Panes (Tabs) and then Environment. Then look in the Environment pane and see if the Type is Backdrop and the Background has an image loaded. If so, just set the Environment Type to None.
