Instal Manager - 2 Libraries

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I want 2 libraries on different drives, how can I ensure that this downloads correctly from DIM?

    Setting up two install locations is easy - just click the gear icon in DIM and in the Installation tab add the extra location (and make sure it's also set as a content directory of the right type or types in DS). You would need to tell DIM which path to use - click the Details box and you get a drop-down that wil let you do that. By default updates will use the path they were installed to.

    Hello Richard & thank you.

    I have got as far as adding an extra location in the installation tab, and telling DS where to look, however I can't find a details box, I use a Mac - that be different?

    On the Ready to Install tab at the bottom right is a check box with Show Details beside it.

    So, that means that it will download to both paths?

    It will download to the DIM Downloads folder - it will isntall to the path you pick from the drop-down list that shows with Details, the list shows the names you set when adding the paths.
