FYI "Hexagon Help Topics and Tutorial Links" sticky full of bad links :(

Hexagon has always been a pia for me, crashing so much I couldn't really learn how to use it. Now I have a far more powerful computer with twice the RAM and it's not crashing! Yay. So now I'm trying to learn it, and I searched the forum for some specific information and found the Hexagon Help Topics and Tutorial Links thread.

However, I tested more than half of the links, and all but two produced 404 or server not found errors. Just an FYI. Perhaps someone can update the list with current links, if they exist. At the very least, it probably shouldn't be "stickied" anymore, though if it won't be updated, it would be less frustrating to people like me if it was removed.

Because it is frustrating to know there was once a mini-tutorial on exactly what I'm trying to do, but it's no longer available.

I'd like to suggest you give Blender a try (  https://www.blender.org/ ).  It's completely free and the number of free (and excellent) tutorials is mind bloggling.  With half a million downloads a month, it's userbase continues to grow quickly and the number of free tutorials with it. The site will link to many great forums and YouTube is overflowing with tuts.  Blender has become a phenomenom, thanks to the power of open source.
