scaling controls help

Hi,

I am using DAZ Studio 4.9 Pro.  I seem to have some problem scaling certain object parts with the scaling tool.  In "Actors, Wardrobe and Props" mode, anything I click on I should have the option of scaling along the X, Y, or Z coodinates in the perimeters tab but all I see for several things is just the universal scale tool.  I used to be able to scale anything along the X, Y, and Z coodinates but for several things, all I see are the universal scale tool.  Did this get "simplified" with the upgrade to version 4.9 because I used to be able to do it with previous versions of DAZ. I also somewhat accidently changed my workplace "style" so I don't know if the controls to what I need somehow got hidden.  I was hoping to scale clothing sub-items (such as a shirt him or pantleg) along the Y-axis to make them longer or shorter- I used to be able to do this but now I can't seem to.

No, it is not due to the update.  Many items or sub-parts of items have, by default, the individual scale dials hidden.  If you were seeing them all, all the time, then you had 'Show Hidden' checked in the Parameter options...

Thanks!  I figured it out with "show hidden controls" as I kept playing with it, so I figured I'd better report back here.  Problem resolved!
