Tutorial for i-Radiance Studio HDRi's

I just bought the i-Radiance Studio HDRi's for Iray.. and It's a little difficult for a noob like myself to understand how to use.

Does anyone know of a tutorial, video or otherwise that goes through how exactly to use this?

I'm just a bit stumped on some things.

ANY HELP would be huge!

  • They are Render Settings, if they are like the other sets - applying one of the main presets will load the HDR map to the Iray environment map setting. You will also have other presets that don't load a map but adjust the brightness or placement. They will probably be most useful if the scene isn't enclosed by a model.

These are indeed Render Settings that work as Richard described. He hit the most important points, including "They will probably be most useful if the scene isn't enclosed by a model"

So, is there any way to use them (or any HDRI, for that matter) in an enclosed environment with few, if any, openings to the outside? Finite box or dome?

Maybe. You can remove the roof/ceiling or try an Iray section plane.  However if you have an enclosed scene then use the photometric spots and point lights, or mesh lights with simple geometry.
