in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Here's what I got:

    More information please - at the very least your system specifications and what you were doing when DS crashed.

    And full version of Studio...whether this is the beta or release version.

    I had the exact same message (on 4.15) for an installation that worked before. In my case, the reason was that the laptop was attached via USB to a docking station (Plugable USB 3.0). D|S starts normally when the laptop is detached; it crashes when I start it while the USB docking station is attached. As a (somewhat cumbersome) workaround, I detach the docking station, start D|S, then re-attach it.
