So is there ANY way I can use Poser files with Genesis 3

Doing a little bit of playing round, but I can't seem to get a reliable way to get my poser content to work with Genesis 3, poses, animations, wearable, props, nothing seems to work properly.

Can anybody give me a little bit of advice?

I put this in new users because I would consider myself pretty amature when it comes to Daz,

thanks in advance!

AFAIK  you can't use Genesis 3 in Poser.

  • Oh sorry, let me clarify, using poser content on Genesis 3 in Daz 4.9

Pose would need tweaking.  Animations   I guess would be the same.   CLothing I will have to take advice on

Edited to add   If your clothing items are for Poser figures then they won't work with Genesis 3.

  • Which figure is the clothing for? The Wear Them All product will allow you to AutoFit clothes made for Victroia 4 and Michael 4, or you can AutoFit to Genesis, save as Figure asset, AutoFit that to Genesis 2 Female, save as Figure asset, AutoFit that to Genesis 3 Female. There are also clones of older Daz figures for Genesis, from which you could again perform a chain of AutoFits and asset saves. You can also make your own clone shapes to convert clothing for other figures if you have the relevant skills.

  • Thanks for clearing that up!

Now I just need to a little bit of research into figuring out how to convert poses and animations ( from .pz2), i've tried searching it up before but come up short, if anyone has any advice I would be very appreciative :)

Genesis 3 does not take poses from earlier figures very well at all, the arms tend not to pose, there are some pose convertors look in Zev0's store.
