Victoria 7 will not download via DIM

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

My content hdd is acting up so I have to redownload everything to my main hdd.  I cannot seem to download Victoria 7.  I clicked on download Victoria 7 but it continues to fail.  Other itesm are downloading fine though.

    in DIM I try to click on the download button, but it acts like it is going to download then says Download Failed!

    Sorry for the late answer but where is the log file?

    Also if Mele hair is only conect only, why can I see it in my DIM? edit: is that why it fails at 99%?

    You ca download manually, It may work. Save file to downloads. Then move it unopened to C:\Users\Public\Documents\DAZ 3D\installmanager then you have to download and save the s file, you can find directions for the offline file (S File) and how to put it in,

    Or have you tried to install offline content? Here is a screen shot. Hope this helps

    That is the error I get with Victoria 7 and Zebra.

    Both Victoria 7 and the Zebra downloaded for me just now.

    Back from vacation and it still will not download.  I did install Victoria 7 manually though.

    Sorry for the bump, but I had the same problem with an update of V7.

     

    Try checking if Victoria 7 file in installation files isn't set to read only. Mine was, and it was preventing the install manager from deleting the older file to replace it with the new one (found this downloading the file outside of install manager and saving it in the install manager folder itself).

    Yep! That's what it was. Found the install zip file in the Install Manager and backed it up and then removed it. Installed after that. File might have been locked by previous install maybe?
