how to change forum username?

When it created my forum username, it took the first part of my email "create" rather than letting me define my username.  Is there a way I can change that?

I would rather it be "ethertear" as my email was "create" at "ethertear" dot com.  (just in case a moderator/admin sees this thread and fixes it for me)

I feel like I have searched all the profile options, and gear/settings icons.
