How do I get Hexagon to export a higher resolution UV map?

For some reason Hexagon exports UV map images at 697x697 which is a thoroughly useless resolution for doing anything. Can I bump it up to 2048x2048?

Hi,
I usually export the obj with UVs from Hexagon. Open the obj in UVmapper Classic (freeware) and generate a new UV map. On the export option, set the scale for whatever is your preference (i.e. 2048 X 2048). Don't forget to save the obj with the new, larger UV map from UVmapper. Note that the generated bitmap (.bmp) will have to be converted in Photoshop (or GIMP) from a black-white image to RGB before you can actually add color to it. In Photoshop, load your UV map then go to Image>Mode>RGB color and re-save map.
It is a while since I used Hexagon, but if memory serves correctly, the size of the UV map depends on how big it is in UV window and how big that window is. Yes I know that is/was daft. They may have changed this. Anyway, you can always try making your UV window as big as possible and see if that helps give a larger map.
