"Duplicate ids were found... - see log..."
I have narrowed down the problem and can duplicate it easily.
DS4.5.1.6 32-bit is what I am running.
When I put Genesis Bikini Bottom in a scene (on a figure and by itself) I get:
"Duplicate ids found while reading the file, see log file for more details".
Question 1: Where is the log file I need to see? (which might make the next two questions moot, if I knew/could remember where to look).
Question 2: Will the log really tell me anything?
Question 3: Anyone here have any helpful insight on this message?
The message also pops up when I re-open an image with the Bikini Bottom in the scene (well when on a figure - haven't just saved the scene with the bikini only in the scene - but if I were to bet.... :smirk:)
The model does load, seems to work when on a figure, posing, changing textures, etc. So, it's not really causing issues. But I hate to see any kind of 'error messages'.

This is a known issue with some older content - I do have a free script to fix it, but it's better (bandwidth permitting) to reset the item from your order history and install an updated copy.
Thanks for the quick reply. I'll reset the models (it occurred on a shoe model also that I added to the scene since my first post.).
Hey robert how things.
Question 1: Top menu bar Help > Troubeshooting > View Log File.
As Richard suggested reset all your Genesis content and reinstall. Reinstalling to the same place as the original will help the installer detect the old and uninstall it for you, Here is a list of updated Genesis products Updated Genesis Products List & Thing To Be Aware Of
First off @ Richard: Thanks! Reinstalling the models did fix the problems.
@Pete:
Things are a bit less busy... actually might have an image for this month's DL Challenge. (In fact, made an observation I am going to share in the thread over there.)
Thanks for the 'bread crumb trail" to the log.
And thanks for the link. AM NOT looking forward to resetting DLs downloading and reinstalling. Might be better to blow away the Content Manager and runtime and start over. Wonder how many not yet updated models will cause issues? SIGH. Oh well. If it were easy, anyone could do it.
Thanks again guys.
