converting a figure to a prop - having issues
Hello and good morning, so I am using a fairly low end computer atm (not enough Ram, basic CPU, and mid-range graphics card), and I was reading through ways to make it easier to add more characters (figures) into a scene without eating up all my resources and I found out about converting a figure to a prop. Which was cool... But I dont want a naked maniquin, which is what I get after I convert any of my figures to props. I have tried figures from Genesis, G2, G3, V7, and all of them lose their hair, and clothing as soon as I convert to a prop.
I have been searching for a few hours on HOW to do this and I found a script with no instructions on HOW to use it in Daz Studio, supposedly it allows you to convert the figure plus clothing and hair to a prop, but yeah like I said I cant find any instructions on how to run it, and it isnt covered in the instruction manual that I can find. So any help would be greatly appreciated.
Below is the link that I found that supposedly allows me to do what I am trying.

You'd probably would have to onvert each item separately?
Click the title of the script to save it as a file. Once it is saved as a file it can be opened like any other piece of content. If you save it to a mapped directory, you can find it in the Content Library and double-click it or drag-n-drop it onto the viewport. From here you can also right-click and Create a Custom Action, which by default will put it in the main menu bar under a Scripts heading. If you save it somewhere else, like your desktop, you can drag-n-drop it from that location onto the viewport or the Script IDE pane. If you drop it on the Script IDE pane, you will have to click the execute button or press F5 to run it.
I've been doing this the manual way.
First, convert all clothing, items and hair to props if they aren't already
Second, unparent all items and props from the figure
Third, convert Figure to Prop (you can re-parent the items back to the figure if you want (I usually do this just to make it easier to find items that go with a specific character in the scene)
Finally, reset any mesh smoothing to the new prop name if you have any items using it
You can select the figure and all items (clothes, props etc) on it using ctrl then export/import to get the whole lot as one prop but while it's quick there can be issues.
