Importing into Daz3d XYZ transform help

Hope this is a simple. If I import an object into Daz and the x y and z transforms are wack.

It imports like

x 475

y 128.24

z -474

Is there a way I can adjust these number, no matter what they are and reset where I placed them as y=0 x=0 and z=0? Oh, and scale too...

so its

x 0

y 0

z 0

Thanks for your help

  • Do you mean translations - it's loading off-cenrtre? If so that's the way it's mdoelled - you could centre it (manually, or by creating a null and using the Align pane) then export as OBJ and reimport. You could also use the Joint Editor to reposition the centre point.

I did mean translations... thank you.. and yes, that worked after a few trial and errors. That dialoge box is a bit tricky but I did figure it out. Thanks for your help. HA! You think I should of thought of that myself. :-)
