Advice on my Spryte render

Any advice on how I can make her look like she's lying on the ground more?

You could take it to your favourite graphics program and paint the ground-shadow in.

She might not be on the ground. In windows I would Ctrl/d to see if she drops to ground level and then move her into position.

Command + D for a Mac?  Worked for me thank you.  Still working on this.  Something I need to learn.  I'm starting to have luck with a transparent backdrop and playing with the lights.  So good old-fashioned DAZ3D skills are the best remedy :)

Non-perspective views (Front, Left, etc) are often useful for seeing relationships with the ground, or with other items.

  • Yes, I usually rotate the view top to bottom and left and right just to make sure things are really where I want them to be. 95% of the time, they are not lol.  So looking at the scene from multiple angles is really important.
