g3 to g2 footware conversion

Hi all,

I have a pair of shoes that I could only find in a G3 version but I want them for a G2 character. I've got them looking great on the feet but can't get away with parenting or fitting them to the G2 rig without them turning into a crumpled wreck. Is there any way to down-convert or otherwise 'cheat' the system? Cheeky, I know but they are perfect for the character so I decided to buy first then sort the fit out later.

There are a Genesis 3 Female for Genesis 2 female and likewise for the males products, which give you AutoFit clones - however, shoes (especiallyt high-heels) tend not to AutoFit well. Fitting won't work, but if you load two copies of the shoes (assuming both feet are part of a single figure), hide one shoe in each, and parent one to each leg at the point where the geometry starts (probably the shins, unless they are very low or very high sided) you may be able to get usable results by posing the shoes to match the feet (you should still be able to apply a Smoothing Modifier to each shoe and set its collision target to the Genesis 2 figure).
