African-American Skin Texture for Genesis

I need an African-American skin texture for use with the Genesis character. The characters I'm creating are a combination of a toon shape (Aiko 4 or HIro 4) with the Genesis V5 or M5 characters. I purchased "The Girl Textures" but so far have not figured out how to access them in DAZ 4.5 Studio (instructions were to copy the ReadME's and Runtime folders into My Library--I did this but can't find them in DAZ).

Any help would be appreciated.

Which "The girl" is it that you have purchased textures for.

The Original girl was a standalone product. The girl 4 is a morph set for V4 and any skins for her would be found in poser formats.

If the texture set that you have bought is this one http://www.daz3d.com/shop/the-girl-textures then you would need to also purchase the original girl figure in order to use them, they will not fit on any genesis based figure afaik.

First of all, these textures are for 'The Girl' which is a Gen3 model, and these textures will not work with The Girl 4, or Genesis. If they were inside a Runtime folder, then you can find them in the Content Library pane under Poser Formats, probably in the Pose folder.

Genesis is UV Mapped for V4, M4 and The Kids 4, and can accept textures from all of these models. If you have the Gen3 shapes for Genesis, V3 and M3 skins will fit as well, but not The Girl.

Looking again, I see there are a couple of links to skins that were used in the promos, so they might be of some use?

Thanks everyone for your help--much appreciated.

The other thing I've had difficulty finding is hair for African-American male teens and adults. I do have the Ethan hair.
