Well it was released as a product before iRay was available and the ad copy assumes you know about 3DL being the default shader I guess or not caring then since it was the only default available. It mentions this Uber Lighting solution I know nothing about but was popular before iRay came about.
But, no, it doesn't say and you're left guessing as I did.
If it's a situation where you can't or don't want to update their model to iray but want iray then you should submit a ticket to DAZ Support.
If it doesn't specify it's probably an older set that is 3Delight only - though in many cases it will convert automatically to Iray without issue (just watch out for refrences to custom shaders, and remember that sky domes need removal or adjustment).
It's sometimes helpful to look at the product SKU, which is stated right below the article name.
If that number is below 22.000, it's safe to assume that the do not know Iray, as they were released before DS 4.8. Some materials also can be Poser materials, and neither 3DL nor Iray.
The 22.000+ can or can't be Iray. The items released after the release of DS 4.8 usually have the distinction between Iray or non Iray material.
You can find the information about the materialsin the "What's included and Features" section.
EDIT: In the product description of the item in question, the SKU number is well below the 22.000 treshold, and it says in the description "Studio 4.6 render with the 2 included Uber Environment 2 light". DS 4.6 had only 3DL render engine, and Uber Environment is a 3DL light source. So the product is for 3DL.
Thanks for all the answers!!
