Terradome 2 Trouble

Okay. I recently saw the release for RuntimeDNA's various Terradomes here on DAZ3D, and good landscapes and so on have been something I've always been on the lookout for. And since I had heard good things about them in the past, I decided to pick one up. But I decided against the newest version, Terradome 3, because it boasted Iray textures with nothing to indicate compatibility with 3Delight. As I have been having a miserable time with Iray (it's so slow and grainy and I don't have the Nvidia card needed for it), I decided to purchase Terradome 2 instead. However, I'm running into problems with it.

I am aware that it's listed as being compatible with Poser, but I have been able to make everything I've found for Poser work perfectly fine in Daz Studio, so I went ahead and got it. But whenever I try and load Terradome, I receive an error message as seen in the screen capture I've included.

Furthermore, I can't get the sky material or other items to work as I would like. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix these problems?

Terradome 2 won't work properly in DS. The materials use poser material room and are not compatible with DS at all, and at least some morph expansions use pmd injection which also doesn't work in DS at all.

As for the error message, it looks like it's looking for the default poser ground plane, so it's probably not a big deal.

  • Oh, great. In other words, I've shelled out perfectly good money on a product that I can't even use.

Could someone please come up with a plugin or something that would allow Terradome 2 to properly in DAZ? Please?

Daz have a thirty day return policy - just contact sales and they will refund you.

Terradome 3 was the solution for DS users.

Okay. I guess that's the only viable option.

But where do I contact sales? Can you provide a link?

Select "Help" in the top bar of the site, select "Help Center" and then use the "Submit a ticket" link in the top bar.
