Is my laptop good enough to download and use DS?

Hello,
I have a HP Laptop the Star Wars "Limited" edition one and was just wondering if it would suffice in regards to the requirments of the software.
Here are the specs:
- Operating system: Windows 10 Home.
- Memory: 6GB DDR3L SDRAM (2 DIMM).
- Hard drive: 1TB 5400RPM hard drive.
- Processor: 6th generation Intel Core i5-6200U Processor, Dual Core (2.3GHz with turbo boost up to 2.8GHz, 3MB L3 Cache).
- Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 520 with up to 3119MB total graphics memory.
If not any other software similar to Daz?
your help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, it's much better than mine but if at all possible you should upgrade RAM to 16GB or 32GB.
Only other SW similar to DAZ Studio is Poser and MakeHuman. Poser's cost varies according to what version, older versions can be bought cheaper but the newest Poser Pro version also goes on sale frequently for 1/2 price or there about. MakeHuman is free.
Perfect thank you very much!
You will be able to use Iray, but it won't take advantage of the Intel GPU so you will have only CPU rendering - slower, and ties the whole machine up (unless you use Task Manager to adjust priority or CPU affinity).
Good enough to use yes, but rendering will be painful; simpler scenes, and smaller resolutions will help a little. 3Delight might be a better choice in some respects, but if you start wanting all sorts of effects, then rendering times will increase. I never got the hang of 3Delight, but folks achieve amazing results with it.
So don't automatically assume that IRAY is the best, it's about what you want, but as said, either way rendering is likely to take time.
