Convert scene for iRay from 3Delight lighting rig

Lots of old content comes with lighting rigs setup for 3Delight, with lots of linear point lights
What's the best way to convert these all to iRay surfaced geometry emitters?

YES! I would love to know this too.
You can still use the point lights if you want to by turning on Photometric under each light.
The other way using the Emissive shader is to click on each point light in the scene tab; zoom in on them; zoom in on the geometry and select it and under the shader tab set it to emissive and set the colour and luminosity. If it is a candle with a .jpg flame then put that into the colour tab under emissive. You can do the same with a bulb but if it is behind glass remember to add a thin glass shader to the glass. If there is no separate geometry for the candle light but there is a wick then use the geometry tool to select it and turn it into a new surface and add the emissive shader to that. You will have to do that with each individual light source unless there is separate geometry showing up in the scene tab for each light source and then you can select them all and change them all at once.
@fishtales -- thank you!
