Any help with posing Technophilia - Data Implants?

I am having troubles making the wire do what I want it to do and I wondered if there was something that I can do to make it easier? I seemed to have similar issues with the phython too. I didn't know which 'bone' or tool to choose to get the best effects. If anyone knows of a Youtube video or two that they could point me in the direction of that would be great.
