Is there a way to change default install location of daz content?

Hi:

I recently upgraded to a new computer, migrated everything mostly successfully to the new computer... But in the process... I changed something, because now content wants to be installed in daz C:\Users\Avataryx\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio

I really want the content to go into C:\DAZ 3D\Studio

which was how my directories were setup on the previous computer.

Is there a way I can do this, without manually tweaking each installer? I don't seem to see a preference for install location in daz.

    Any time that I change the path for the installer, say to put some of my content into a temp folder to see what it contains, then the next time I run the installer, it wants to put it in the Temp folder. I have to change it back to the My Library folder again.

    In other words, I think the installer remembers the last place you installed to, and uses that. Does that not work for you?

    The installers dos tore the last used path, but there are two potential issues - firstly, there are two paths (one for Poser content, one for DS content) which may have different values (and occasionally an installer will use the wrong path); secondly, the location of the dzinstall.ini file which stores the paths has changed over the years and so it's possible that two installers from different times will not read the same stored value.

    I find the new installers make installing to different paths easy.

    I always use Customise Installation > Choose from a predefined list of mapped Daz Studio directories (forget about the Studio 3.x or newer bit) > Select the path from the drop down list of mapped Directories (see image 1 below) >

    But with the older installers this is not the case so I just copy and paste the path from Window Explorer by using CTRL + C or right click to copy and CTRL+V to paste as some installers won't allow right click and paste. See image 2

    Sorry to bring up an old post, but I need to know how to set up new premapped paths, like the ones in the images!
    I lost mine when I reinstalled everything after PC replacement!
