Anyone else having trouble lighting this? I cannot seem to select any surfaces to use my own lighting, and there does not seem to be any provision for set lighting. I must be missing something somewhere.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Make sure that the items are selectable. Sometimes a scene will load with some surfaces unselectable, but you can change that in the Scene tab.

Also, click on "Expand All" and make sure that everything is visible (opened eye icon). That might be where the lights are.

Ok. I got the lights in the scene to glow by changing the settings in surface but they do not illuminate anything, they just glow. I have raised the Luminosity and Efficacy limits to ridiculous levels but no change.

Use Tone Mapping to set the camera for the lights.

Ok. This just got weirder. None of my Iray lights are working in any of my sets. They used to work and now they don't.

    Going to try re-installing Daz.

Did not work. Can not get any lighting to work at all. It will glow but not emit.

Note that this is almost 100% definitely not the solution to your problem.

Have you checked the Environment Mode? It's in Render Settings>Environment, right at the top. If this isn't set to "Dome and Scene" or "Scene Only" then none of the photometric or mesh lights in your scene will work.
