Photography set? "Photo screen" & drop shadows?

in New Users
Hello,
1/ What if I want my two wrestlers to be just on a plain white background? Have a look at the attachment: How can I reproduce this in Daz3D? Or is there a better technical solution? I just want to be able to get my two characters on a plain white space, as you have them being printed on a blank sheet of paper.
2/ Let me make things a bit more complex then: what if you want the white background but still drop shadows to be present? It means we go back to that "photo screen" I initially sent you as an attachement? Can we do that?

1. Click on the Viewport Options icon (little arrowhead with four horizontal lines) in the viewport, and select Change Background Colour. Select white from the paleete. Done.
2. There are plenty of free backdrops like the roll paper backdrop in your photo. They are actually simple curved plane objects which are used in the same way as a real backdrop would in a photo studio. Just search for backdrops at a site such as ShareCG and you should be able to find what you want amongst the results. Alternatively, you could simply make your own from a plane primitive.
Update for those who will read this answer: I'm using Daz3D 4.9 and I could not find how to change the background color. The option can now be found in the Windows top menu. The path is Windows > Style > Customized Style > Viewport. Then you can set the Background color to White but you will still have the Grid visible. To hide the Grid, click on the Viewport Options Icon and Uncheck the Show Floor option.
You can always buy this

Hello,
Thank you for the explanation about the white background.
I would like to make the basic floor glossy so that it mirrors a bit the character.
Is that possible ?
Thank you for your help.
