Installing model from artist

Hello, I've been sent a bunch of files from my artist and he's M.I.A. Can anyone explain how I'm supposed to install these? I'm on a Mac. The tutorials I've found don't seem to deal with this sort of file naming/set. Have installed the Genesis 3 model guy 7 he used to base it on. When I drag this folder into the same place it gets errors and missing files I don't have on opening.
Thanks for any help.

  • When opening a file, DAZ will usually throw an error, stating that it cannot find "file X" in a specific directory path. Create folders to match the path its looking in for the file and put the correct file in it.

If it gives an error and you put all the files you had - the artist probably did not give you all the files.
In the end - you might have to contact them if all else fails.

Such a butchered file structure and the fact that he is MIA calls into question his professionalism, you may want to look for a new artist.

Or the files were left intentionally incomplete so the data cannot be just stolen before the artist is paid.

Anyway - you have no choice but to try and contact the person to fix the files.

Otherwise like jestmart said - look for a new artist.
