how do you typically animate hair?

In animate2 is it something you do manually which could take forever? what do most people use for this please.

    i think they animate in Cararra using VWD or exporting to Blender and using their hair system. There is also nVidia HairWorkX but the would also require exporting your DAZ models and modeling the hair in HairWorkX

    I animate hair by hand, like I do with the rest of the model so I guess there are no tricks from me - only time consuming, hard work.
