Issues with Michael 4 and Freak 4 in Poser 11

I have purchased and installed both Michael 4 and Freak 4 to be used in Poser 11. I purchased Freak 5 but the DSON imoprting causes issues with rendering in Comic Book mode, so I reverted to the previous objects.

If I load Freak 4, it comes in as Michael 4, and looks like Michael 4.

If I load Michael 4, it displays as Michael 5....

I cannot get the Freak 4 to load as it should look, and keeps loading as Michael 4.

Any suggestions?

Michael 4 loading as Michael 5 sounds very odd, but for the Freak did you run the DzCreateExPFiles-m4 batch file after installing? If you installed via the Install Manager that should not be needed, but for a manual install it is.

What are you seeing in Comic Book Preview? I am starting to use that for some of my projects, and have not had any problem with Michael 4 or (Michael 3, for that matter). I have yet to use Freak 5 in Poser 11 and am curious as to what's happening.

As for load issues, I would suggest doing a manual installation for Michael 4 and Freak. If you go to the Products page under your account, you can find the manual install links. Download the manual files and then install them in the Poser 11 Runtime. If you already have it there, you could try to put the files in a new Runtime (I have separate runtimes for Superheroes, Westerns, and specific projects). Multiple Runtimes can cause a few headaches, but that is definitely where I would suggest starting.
