Advice on new system for Daz

I need some advice on a new system for Daz3D, it needs to be large enough to handle up to four G3 characters and a normal set and render at a reasonable speed in Iray (Whatever a reasonable speed is these days)
Anyway, I was looking at this system but would be interested what the people who use Iray thought.
- Overclocked Intel® Core™ i7-5820K Processor
- Memory: 16 GB (will be upgraded to 64gb)
- Graphics: 2 x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 Ti (SLI)
- Hard drive: 2 TB & 480 GB SSD - (probably add a 1TB SSD for the library)
I know the 10 series graphics cards are out but have heard they are not compatible with IRay yet?
Also open to other systems around £2500 if better options are available.

That's a good system.
Go to the PC Specialist website and you can get the same machine upgraded to the current 6-core 6800K Intel, Pro version of Windows 10, 64GB included, and a larger HDD for the same money.
I just checked the PC Specialist site and it definitely seems cheaper to get it done via them, thanks for the heads up.
Two graphics card questions:
(1) 3x 980Ti's vs 2x Titan-X's
On the X99 motherboard they give me the option of putting up to 3x 6Gb 980Ti's. From what I understand Daz Studio works on the number of available cores on the graphics cards?
As the Titan X has only slightly more cores per card than the 980Ti - would I be right in assuming that 3x 980ti's should render significantly faster than 2x Titan-X's?
Just curious if anyone has tried three and if it's worth the extra money?
(2) 10 series cards IRay comparability:
Has there been any word on this?
Thanks
Gonzo
Although the 980ti is the choice for performance, the 6GB limit is easier to breach than you'd think. Whenever that happens all 3 cards will be dropped by DS and sit idle.
Investing in 12GB Titans makes more sense from that perspective, even if they are 'slower' and more expensive.
As well as CUDA capability being imminent for the new 1080 cards, we are also expecting the TI versions of the 1080 with more cores (and possible more than 12GB memory).
They're officially slated for 3rd quarter this year, but could be end of year, beginning of next!
