View ports totally messed up

I find some things in 4.9 to be totally un-user friendly.

 

Some how I got my content pane (scene) vanished when I tried "make undockable" which the name would imply to NOT make it undockable...which is opposite of what happened.  

I lost my icons across top for tools

I went into full screen mode to see if they are there and now I cannot get out of full screen?

Some people said to "reset defaults" but never bother to say how to do that.

How do I get everything back?  

Going to bed now...I cannot use Daz Studio at all because I cannot get out of full screen and can not find a scene.

Shift-F11 should exit full screen mode. You can also launch the Customise dialogue (F3) and use the Import or Defaults option to restore to a saved state (or one of the defaults).
