hello,

is there a quick way to remove all the materials on the G3 figure so I can have a grey solid figure preset to import to hexagon in the surface tab instead of going thru all the surfaces? thanks

Dahh, I got it!  thanks anyway

The easiest way I've found is to load up genesis as it loads with that surface.  Save as a material preset  -- File>Save as>Material Preset.  That puts it into a .duf format that you can then apply to other figures.  I can't remember if you have to reset which UV gets used with G3 or not or if it is automatic.  I'm running a render right now and can't double check that part.  Once you save it, just apply it to G3 like you would any other shader.  If you need to tell it which UV to use, go to the Parameters Tab and near the bottom should be UV set.  Pick Genesis.  If you have a hard time finding the .duf you saved, look in 'My Library>Material Presets' like you would for poses or scenes you save or in 'Your Saved Files' folder in Smart Content.  I usually use the Content Library tree, but I'm pretty sure that is where it is in Smart Content, too, but I'm not 100% sure about that.
