Exporting .obj plus UV map from Daz3d to Zbrush?

Hi everyone, I'm new to Daz3d and Zbrush and was wondering if someone can help me with this problem I have been wrestling for hours now. I have bought  forest: http://www.daz3d.com/forest
I opened it in Daz3d and export it as a .obj for Zbrush. when the .obj files opens in Zbrush it all looks ´Geomatric´ after some research I figured out its missing the original uvmaps (textures).

Is there a way to export the uvmaps (textures) from Daz3d and import them in Zbrush along with the .obj file? Hope this question makes sense :)

Thanks for any help

What are you wanting to do, render in ZBrush? It is possible to import maps, divide the mesh and apply the maps as PolyPaint but I think doing that for something like the forest would produce a massive system load.

  • Thanks for your answer Richard,

The goal is to just take a small part of the forest and export that in Zbrush to tiff or Jpeg for later use in photoshop. So I just need the maps (textures) to work (show in Zbrush) only in a small part of the forest

    Thank you
