Does Mimic Pro LIVE work with Genesis 2 and does it work off sounds files?

Do you have to talk live. or can you use sound files as the source?  And does it work for Genesis 2 figures and how about v4/m4,  Kids4?

The description of the product is vague. doesn't even say which characters it supports.
