The Beluga, or White Whale, (Delphinapterus leucas) is a large dolphin native to the arctic seas. In spite of its sometimes-chubby appearance, the beluga is an amazingly graceful swimmer, mesmerizing audiences worldwide with its ethereal weightless elegance.
