Nicely designed barbult! I find these characters to be more appealing than many of the major ones Daz issues.

So, I did a little experiment with my African morphs.  One of them was the morphs from the Queens of the Savannah HD Faces and Morphs.  It has some very cool lip morphs and tribal scars.  I wasn't exactly sure what I would end up with, but I have to say I got some interesting looking characters.  This is one of my favorites.  I named her Constance.  I had to do a close up of those tribal scars.

I'm still playing with hair for her.  I think I might dig up the hair that Sonja used in her image above.  I forgot I had that one.  I don't really like either of these two hairs that I used.  I thought the tribal scaring on her face ended up looking interesting.  But look at how well those teeth turned out. I love the little gaps, especially on the bottom teeth.  They just look like average teeth, not perfect.  I haven't decided, but I might go in to those face morphs and dial one of the scar morphs back just a little.  I'm debating it still.

Your right her teeth look really good.  I don't know I kind of like her scars.  They tell a story. The nice thing about the Vidal hair is you can hide the cloth and just go for the braids if you want.  Can hid the drop on her forehead as well. lots of options

Yeah, that's why I'm still debating it.  If I can come up with a good story for her, I may just keep them as they are.

I think the scars give her character, nice work!

On the shorter hair, try creating a normal map for it to give it more depth/texture.

Thank you!  I actually toned down my morph selections on this one, I usually select almost everything and just take out things out don't want like say, orc morphs lol. but I narrowed the selection down by quite a bit this time and used mostly asian and african american morphs.  I really like her a lot and skin builder just made her darn near perfect as far as I am concerned lol.

I really like the angular look of her face. The hair you chose shows that off nicely.

  • FSMCDesignsFSMCDesigns Posts: 12,755

Thanks Sonja. yep, hair plays a big part in the look of a character IMO. I have bought characters based on a look only to find that it wasn't really the same without the hair in the promo, LOL.

Man, been playing with the Randomizer again this morning and the problem is, I come up with too many characters I want to flesh out. I load up G3F, zoom in to the face, create another viewpoint so I can see the front and side views, decide which texture set I want to use, then turn on IRAY interactive for immediate results and then load up the randomizer. I already have 12 bases for unique characters, but I keep thinking an even better one will show up, AAAARRRRGGGGHHHHH it's addictive, LOL.

@FSMCDesigns  That's an interesting looking character!  Very nice.  I like that hair with her too.

Shhhh we can't talk about just how many characters I might have hidden away lol.  It is very addictive for sure.  I've spent my fair share of ummm....hours playing with this lol.

Very nice! The pose, hair, jewelry and clothing certainly do accent her character.

    Sonja,

Used the randomizer to generate this one, but she's not quite ready for her unveiling.

    Still tweaking...

(Duh!  If you can't see her face, what's the point!!?)  cheeky

Er...I think it's a false alarm.  I was playing with that randomizer, trying and undoing so many times, that I'm not sure where I ended up.  I think I ended up using this model for my render.  G2F, and I think it's the FWF Janna head morph.

I was interested in starting with one of the morphs, and making random changes from there.  I was hoping that I could zero out the changes and return to the morph I started with.  Instead zeroing out went all the way back to the base figure.  So...I tried generating one random morph at a time, then hitting undo to return to the Janna features.  But I kept getting very close to the same thing every time.

Sometimes that's the way it is with random number generators.  You get the same sequence over and over unless there's a way to seed the starting point.

In any case, this is the lady under the hat in the Speak Easy.

And whattdya know!  It's Miss McGillicuddy about 60 years ago!!  She was such a sweet young thing back then, but when she got jilted by her fiance on the way back from Key Largo, she swore off men forever!.

Now you know why she never smiles...

Wow she was really beautiful when she was young.  What a waste..... lol.  Nice job!

Your explanation gave me a chuckle especially seeing "Miss McGillicuddy".  She looked great in her younger days!

    Here's a non-human character, Fizz, a dragon. He's hunting for lunch...

    This is the G3 dragon.

I hadn't thought of randomizing the dragons yet, but that turned out pretty nice!

Yes this is the place to post!  Those creature characters are great!

    Wow Tjohn Kate looks awesome!

What I love about this is that it's fun to have the creative eye of looking through results for ideas, then deciding what to do with the result. There's a creative challenge there.

Here's another random, decided he looked undeadish. I think my next attempt will be something a little more 'standard human.'

Wow Will he makes a great ghoul!

  • Oso3DOso3D Posts: 15,014

And now a more normal human.

I had to really be cautious with the settings; just selecting most normal real world stuff kept ending up with punching bag twitchy things.

I stuck more to ethnics, muscularity, vascularity, aging, and some root stuff.
