Additional joints in the arms of Genesis

Hi, 

I've been working with DazStudio for a while now but still haven't completely figured everything out. For one of my project I would like to add additional joints to the arms of Genesis. I need four to five additional elbows, so to speak.

However, everything I try results in strange deformations of the arms. 
I would be very grateful if someone could give me a tip on how to add additional, working joints to the arms.

  • I'm not sure how practical that would be, though you can certainly add more joints with the Joint editor tool (right-click menu) - the issue would be the shape of the arm, and having enough rings of vertices to allow for a reasonable distribution or weights to make a smooth bend. Using a new model of the arm via GeoGrafting would probably be better, but it would still be a huge undertaking I fear.
