Compatability Question

How do you know if a clothing item will work with your models. For example, the "Hot Uniforms" line says genesis 2, some call out specific characters like "Victoria 4". Will these items work with Victoria 6 or other "6" series Genesis 2 models? How can you tell?

    This might help: http://www.daz3d.com/compatibility-matrix (it needs an update to add Genesis 3 and the latest Genesis 2 shapes)

    Basicaly, items made for V4 can be autofitted to Genesis 2 Female if you have the "V4 for G2F" product. after that they will work with the "6" figures.

    Ok I installed it. Will it work automatically or do I have to do something to get it to work?

    With G2F selected in the Scene pane, when you try to load a piece of clothing made fro V4, then Autofit window will pop up, and ask you what figure the clothing was made for. Assuming that the clone has been installed correctly, V4 should appear in the list, select that, then the clothing type, and that should be it.
