I just upgraded from Daz3d 4.6 to 4.8 and all of my smart content is broken.
I can still browse the content library from the right panel, but the left smart content shows up as broken links and nothing happens when clicked on.

Check if your if DS is correctly pointing to your libraries.
Have a look under Content library/Content Directory Manager and check that the directories listed are correct.

    The directory looks correct.

It seems like a meta-data issue?
Do you need to do anything after upgrading?

I tried the re-import meta from the Content DB Maintenance, but that did not change anything.

Is the upgrade suppose to work?? Seems like a simple upgrade that everyone must have done, why doesn't it work??

How did you install your content? Can you give the full path to an item, such as Genesis.duf (if you have that installed)?

Is the content visible in the content library?

All of the content is visible in the content library.

I installed everything from the Daz3D website from Install Manager.

Under smart content it also shows no products.

Should a try reseting the meta data database and re import?

you can try. If in DIM go to the installed tab, select everything, right click, re-import metadata. Also open your task manager and go tot he applications tab and see if content management service is running.

It definitely sounds like a metadata issue.
