A simple, flat field.....

Hello there, can anyone please point me towards, or advise me on how to make one.
I need a simple flat field of grass (something like a football field), I've searched everywhere I can think of and can't find anything near what I'm looking for...

    I don't know of any 3D models of football fields off the top of my head, but I have used

    Grass Shader for DAZ Studio

    To create grass fields that look very good.

    Now this shader only works in 3Delight as far as I know. I don't think it will work in Iray.

    If you want to put lines on it like a football field, there was a thread on that Here

    If you want to do this in Iray, you will probably need to find some textured prop landscape.

    The AoA Grass shader is in my opinion produces amazing results, especially in closeups.

    Thanks for that Mark, 'Grass Shader' looks like a good place to start, I'll go and get it now......
    That's an interesting link you posted up too, that guy is doing/has done pretty much what I'm aiming for, you'd think he'd explain a little more about how the hell he did it though.....hahaha!
