As you can see in the image below the character's feet do not fit properly with the ground, and i dont know how to fix this.

I`m aware that in Daz Studio Parameters i have a choice which is Move To Floor, but this doesnt work because this ground has undulations, so even being in (0,0,0) would make my feet`s character to dont fit properly sometimes.

Do i have to move around from frame to frame while adjusting my character`s feet? this would be tons of work! please tell me there are another way. Thanks!

You can adjust them in the Pose tab once selected or the parameter tab to move the whole figure up

There is no collision detection in DAZ Studio, so a character walking on an undulating plane is always going to give problems I think. There is no way that I can think of to make the job easier. Even if it did have collision detection, as soon as the first polygon of the foot touched the first polygon of the surface it would stop, and look most unnatural.

To have a character walking across something like sand in a realistic way would probably require physics of some sort, I'm not even sure if it could be done in Carrara, which has both physics and collision detection.

Maybe some of our animators will see this thread and help a lot more than I can, sorry.

yeah Frank, i know that can be done but that doesnt fit the feets properly, just if the ground is plain and your feet character`s are plains too. If i dont want many precision this could be usefull, or if i dont target ground area with the camera.

Thank you Jimmy. Knowing that that cant be done leave me much quieter. I miss something like collision detection really and i dont understand why Daz Studio doesnt have that parameter. I will forget this and i will skip ground recordings with some camera or if necessary i will adjust manually frame per frame :S
