Yesterday, I found a way to match a color by clicking on the object that I wanted to copy the color from and then transfering it to the target. I should have written the process down, because I can't remember how I did it. Can someone help?
If you are referring to transferring the surface settings then it's just a case of copying and pasting: select the item (or item part) in the Scene tab, switch to the Surface tab then right click on the surface and select 'Copy Selected Surfaces'. Next select the surface you want to copy the first surface to, (make sure the object is selected n the scene first), right click the surface in the Surface tab and select 'Paste Selected Surface'.
I'm not sure if that's what you needed, but hope it helps.
